Killisick: a tired white door made new
This up-and-over door in Killisick, on the edge of Arnold, was white and streaked with dirt, with the dark frame around it making the stains obvious. The surround was masked and the drive sheeted, the door was cleaned and keyed, and it was sprayed anthracite grey.

Matching the garage to the house
Often a garage door is sprayed because it no longer matches. A new front door, new windows or a sprayed front leaves a white garage door as the odd one out.
Carlton
In Carlton the side door was already anthracite and the white up-and-over door was not. Sprayed to match, the two now read as one.
Watnall
In Watnall, a white sectional door sat under grey cladding next to an anthracite front door. It was sprayed dark grey to go with the front door, so the whole ground floor ties together.

And in Edwalton, a brown up-and-over door was sprayed anthracite grey to go with the windows.
